MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - The National Weather Service issued a Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 8 a.m. Thursday for much of the Mid-South. Wind chill values are expected to drop to between 0 and -5 degrees.
This low of a wind chill could cause frost bite and hypothermia if the correct precautions aren't taken. Make sure to wear a hat and gloves, if you must be outdoors during this time. Click here for more weather information.
A light dusting of snow fell across Shelby County and Memphis early Wednesday morning. Drivers should use caution as the snow covered roadways that may still be icy.

WMC Action News 5 had crews across the Mid-South tracking the wintry weather and road conditions.
Arlington, Bartlett, Collierville, and Germantown Municipal School Districts are closed Wednesday.
Millington Schools also canceled classes for students, staff should report to the school on a two-hour delay.
