Winter weather advisory extended until midnight

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - National Weather Service extended the winter weather advisory to expire at midnight due to the threat of more winter weather. Up to one inch of snow, 1/4 of an inch of sleet and a trace amount of freezing rain is possible throughout the day.

Roads and sidewalks could become slick. Drivers should use caution, especially on bridges and overpasses. Leave a little early, go slow, and be sure to check current traffic conditions with the WMC Action News 5 traffic tracker.
