Mississippi state offices delay opening; some schools cancel Tuesday classes

JACKSON, MS (WMC) - Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant is delaying the opening of state offices in areas impacted by winter weather, including the Jackson Capitol Complex until 10 a.m. Tuesday.

All MS Department of Public Safety offices north of Interstate 20 will be delayed in opening until 10 a.m. Driver's license stations in N. Mississippi are closed. Click here for a list of the closed stations.

Some N. Mississippi schools canceled classes for Tuesday, including North Panola School District, South Panola School District, Quitman County Schools, Tate County Schools, and Tunica County Schools.
