New York TV station develops controversial computer game

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - A controversial video game has many people arguing.

The game, intended to be educational, simulates slavery.

In the game, called Mission US: Flight to Freedom, students take the role of a 14-year-old trying to escape from a plantation in Kentucky.

The computer game was developed by a public TV station in New York City.
