Organizers announce Beale Street Music Festival 2015 lineup

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis In May organizers announced the Beale Street Music Festival lineup on Wednesday morning. The festival runs May 1-3 at Tom Lee Park.

“We are bringing the best of the best of touring music talent this year,” said Jim Holt, president and CEO of Memphis in May. “We pride ourselves on presenting a diverse line-up designed to appeal to musical enthusiasts from all segments of the population across the country and around the world. The Beale Street Music Festival offers something for virtually every musical taste.”

Memphian Clarence Dickson told WMC Action News 5, "I like all music, from jazz to country. Country tells the story, like blues you know."

If you want to get a free, three-day pass, apply to be part of the BSMF street team. Street team members must post 20 posters and pass out 500 flyers in their communities.
