Germantown police officers wrangled a cow on Tuesday morning. One officer caught the bizarre incident on camera.

The cow got through a fence, ending up in David Jolly's backyard.

"I'm going, 'I haven't done anything. And what are the cops doing?' and this cow comes tearing across the backyard," Jolly explained.

Jolly's neighbor owns land and livestock. He says a cow has only gotten out twice in 20 years.

The video, taken by a Germantown police officer, was posted to GPD's Facebook page. While GPD was tight-lipped about the incident, Jolly enjoyed watching the cops play cowboys on Tuesday.

"I bet you don't get many stories like that," Jolly said. "Germantown's finest did their best. And got it to go straight up the hill."
