PG - Chris Paul - 17.9 PPG, 9.9 APG - Key stat - Was responsible for giving up late-game turnover to clinch loss to Memphis Monday. Paul was brilliant before that, expect another big game from him,

Key storylines

The Clippers are still working through their bench issues. Their bench wings consist of Hedo Turkoglu, Dahntay Jones, new 10-day signee Jordan Hamilton and Austin Rivers. None are even close to viable defensive options.

Blake Griffin is out of this game with a staph infection in his elbow.

Speaking of injuries, Vince Carter is still out with a foot tendon strain, but was going through a heavy workout this morning at shootaround. Carter is running just fine and did a drill where he had to sprint up and down the court and fire pull-up threes.

Courtney Lee deserves some due for the incredible defensive play he made on Chris Paul (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxMuBNTC15k). Mike Conley gets the credit for making the nice steal, but Lee forced Paul into an awkward position, forcing him to lose the ball. With Tony Allen and Mike Conley still playing high-level defense, the Grizzlies have arguably the best corps of perimeter stoppers in the league.
