MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A Memphis blues legend in the making is back in the Mid-South Friday night for a performance.

Fifteen-year-old Christone Ingram, or "Kingfish," played at the Young Avenue Deli in Midtown.

Ingram recently returned home from a trip to France, where he played in a music festival. He was the headliner, and performed until the early morning hours.

Kingfish says there's no telling what his fans might hear when he performs.

"In the words of a very good guitar player and an idol and a good friend of mine Ari Gale, it's like reaching into a giant pot of gumbo. So it's dependent on how the crowd receives me," said Ingram.

He'll be back in the Bluff City in another month or so.
