Germantown teen arrested after aggravated robbery

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A Germantown teen is behind bars after police say he gave someone a gun during a robbery.

According to police, Logan Bolton gave the gun to a man who shot a 16-year-old in the neck during a robbery in the 3000 block of Emerald Street.

According to police, the victim agreed to meet Bolton at his house for a drug deal on Jan. 29. Bolton arrived at the victim's home with three other men.

According to the police statement, Bolton passed a silver handgun to one of the men with him, and a fight broke out. The victim was shot in the neck.

Police say the suspects tried to rob the 16-year-old of his phone and other property.

Neighbors were shocked.

Harvey Jones lives down the street from the house where the teenager was shot.

"It's a pretty good neighborhood. This is the first time I've heard something, and I don't know if the people know one another," said Jones.

Jones says the incident will make him and others keep a closer eye on what happens on their street.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but his condition has since stabilized.

Bolton is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, two counts of facilitating in a second-degree murder, one count of facilitating in a second-degree murder, and three counts of second-degree murder.  He is in jail on a $50,000 bond.

The gunman and the two other suspects are still on the run.
