MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Exclusive cell phone video shows the fight that led to a shooting outside Crystal Palace Saturday.

In the video you can see a teenager, dressed in blue, getting beat up by a group of other teens.

"The girls got jumped, and after they got jumped somebody got hit and it went from there," one teen who did not want to be identified told WMC Action News 5.

Police later arrested April Rawls for shooting two teens. She told police she was trying to protect her daughter who you can see being beaten up in the cell phone video.

Witnesses say the group of teens came from Crystal Palace, but the general manager insists the shooting did not happen at the skating rink.

Nonetheless, Crystal Palace plans to change how it operates.

"I'm no longer catering to the 16-24 group on Saturday nights," general manager Landius Matthews said. "It's going to be family night, strictly enforced."

That means no child will be allowed into the skating rink without parental supervision.

Matthews hopes that rule change will help prevent violent episodes like the one this weekend from happening again.

Shelby County District Attorney's Office would not comment specifically about Crystal Palace, but did say businesses can be held responsible for how they impact surrounding businesses.
