Memphis Grizzlies head coach Dave Joerger announced that Tony Allen will miss Tuesday night's game against Utah Jazz due to a suspension for a team policy violation.

Starting power forward Zach Randolph and backup point guard Beno Udrih will also miss Tuesday's game, each with an illness. Guard Vince Carter is questionable as he recovers from a foot tendon injury.

UPDATE:

ESPN's Marc Stein reports Allen got into a confrontation at practice with teammate Nick Calathes. According to Stein the confrontation did not turn physical, but Allen was ultimately suspended for "waving off coaches' attempts to calm him down." Allen will play Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets.

Zach Randolph has been upgraded to probable with an illness for Wednesday night's game, while Beno Udrih remains questionable. Vince Carter is still also questionable as he recovers from a foot tendon injury.
