MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Slippery roads caused crashes on Friday morning near Highway 385 and Interstate 240 in Shelby County.

Multiple cars were involved in a crash on I-40, near the Jackson Avenue exit. No one was taken to the hospital.

Mid-South streets and roads were iced over and slippery after temperatures dropped into the teens overnight. A new record low for March 6 was hit when the temperature dropped to 16 degrees.
