Titans quarterback Locker retires from NFL

Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker announced his retirement from the NFL after injury-riddled NFL seasons Tuesday.

The Titans drafted Locker 8th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, but the oft-injured quarterback played in only 30 games out of a possible 64 over four seasons.

Locker went 9-14 in his 23 starts, throwing for 4,967 yards, 27 touchdowns and 22 interceptions.

The 26-year old out of the University of Washington earned more than $12.5 million over his career.
