2 injured in shooting near Memphis Boys and Girls Club

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Two 18-year-old men were injured in a Tuesday afternoon shooting near a Memphis Boys and Girls Club.

Police say one of the men was walking on Ross Road when a black vehicle pulled up and shots rang out.

One 18-year-old ran to the Boys and Girls Club on Ross Road in Hickory Hill seeking help. He was taken to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Police found another victim with a gunshot wound in the 6700 block of Castlegate Lane. He was taken to St Francis Hospital in non-critical condition.

Investigators say the two victims fired shots at each other.

No one has been charged in this shooting.
