An exciting new addition to Shelby Farms Park was unveiled Friday, just hours before it opens to the public.

The park previewed its new treetop adventure course at the Woodland Discovery Playground before the grand opening March 21.

For $57, you can dance through the tops of Shelby Farms on a nearly four hour adventure in the first Go Ape course in Tennessee.

"Treetop adventure that takes place 40 to 50 feet in the trees with zip lines, obstacles, Tarzan swings, all sorts of other fun stuff," said managing director Dan D'Agostino.

After paperwork, a safety instructor will guide you through the rules of the course, put you in a harness, walk you through the course, and then you're on your way!

"Just get into a good habit of only holding the blue safety line because that's going to be the only one we're going to be holding onto," said safety instructor Zach Schroeder.

WMC Action News 5's Kontji Anthony tried the addition Friday. She conquered her fear of heights, and conquered the course.
