MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

An average day at school became a terrifying experience for the woman who claims she was sexually assaulted by a campus police officer.

Albert Moses, 57, is charged with sexual battery for an incident that happened in January 2015 on the Whitehaven Southwest Community College Campus.

The victim is both a student and an employee of the college and says she was cleaning one of the classrooms the morning of the assault.

"While I was in there cleaning it, he come up behind me and grabbed my breast and squeezed them," said the victim.

She says Moses snuck in the room and tried to force himself on her.

"Holding me by my waist or whatever, telling me to bend over, bend over, it's not going to take long," she recalled.

Even though the door was shut, she said she started to scream and fight back.

She says Moses eventually let her go, and she immediately ran to report the incident to campus administrators.

A representative from Southwest Tennessee Community College confirmed Memphis police weren't notified until the following day. Moses was allowed to continue to work the rest of that day.

The victim says those are the facts that disturb her the most about the incident.

"They need to do more training with their staff on sexual assault prevention," she added.

Moses remains on paid administrative leave pending the conclusion of the investigation.
