MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A Durham school bus driver is temporarily suspended after cursing at students who were about to fight on the bus.

"Do what you gone do, and get y'all &&$ back on the bus," said driver. "Y'all gone be like that on the bus everyday, take care of y'all f&$&@$& business so I can drop y'all off."

The viral video has sparked controversy that has everyone talking.

"She's an adult, she took care of the situation," said Jewell Dennis. "I think she was just doing her job."

Some even say she was doing a job meaning to reach kids on their level.

"Sometimes you have to get to the level to reach children, and if you notice in the video, she did reach their attention," said Takeisha Brooks.

Durham school services confirm that they're looking to learn more about the incident. It's not clear when the incident happened. According to the video, the bus driver stopped the bus and gave the Bolton High School students who were about to fight an ultimatum.

"Either we're going to tumble and roll, or get back on this bus and go home." said driver. "So what's it gone be?"

Some parents think her actions were necessary.

"I commend her for catching their attention because it could have ended up worse," said Brooks.

Others say she went too far in certain ways.

"You don't have to just curse all of the time to get your opinion across," said Dennis. "Sometimes it takes cussing to get to people."
