If you know of a kid who can whip up a healthy lunch, it might earn them a trip to the White House.
The Healthy Lunchtime Challenge is part of first lady Michelle Obama's effort to get young people to eat healthier.
It invites children ages 8 through 12 to submit original recipes for healthy and affordable lunches.
Recipe submissions should follow these MyPlate nutrition guidelines: Fruits and vegetables should make up about half of the recipe or dish, and it should also include whole grains, lean protein and low-fat dairy.
Winners from each state and U.S. territory will be flown to Washington this summer for a "state dinner" for youngsters at the White House and some of their recipes will be prepared for the meal.
