A high speed chase took place between two people in the area of Highway 385 and Winchester Road.

The chase ended behind Logan's Restaurant on Winchester Road.

"Came outside and we thought the tow truck was hooked up to my buddy's truck here and it wasn't," said witness Brad Jobe.

Jobe shot the video of the car being hooked up, but what's most surprising is what the tow truck driver told him.

"The bounty hunter was after the guy in the car, and he came here," said Jobe. "The chase ended here, [and] the guy got out of his Jeep and ran off."

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office confirms that deputy saw the chase, and stopped the man chasing the person in the Jeep, which was a bounty hunter. The fugitive had three misdemeanors, and that's why he was wanted.

It's unclear what the misdemeanors are for.

While the bounty hunter was stopped, the person left his car behind and left the scene on foot.

Sheriff's deputies patrolled the area looking for the man who ran off, but did not find him.
