Severe thunderstorm watch expires


The severe thunderstorm watch that was issued by National Weather Service for many Mid-South counties expired at 1 a.m. Friday.

According to the WMC Action News 5 weather team, the threat for thunderstorms was the greatest around sunset into the overnight hours.
