Weather/traffic update:

Lots of rain headed our way this afternoon as storms move in to the Mid-South.  Meteorologists Dave Brown and Ron Childers will let you know if those storms will be severe.  And before you jump into you evening commute, check in with  traffic tracker, Janeen Gordon to avoid the trouble spots. Tune into WMC Action News 5 at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. for the latest weather and traffic.

Here's a look at what we're working on:

Today at 5:00,  a home burglarized and it's all caught on camera.  WMC Action News 5's Kontji Anthony shows you how social media has helped police develop a suspect.  And learn about the security system the homeowners used to get such clear pictures of the suspects.   Then at 6:00, a man breaks FAA rules and runs on the tarmac to save his dog, after the airline let the pup get away.  WMC Action News 5's Janice Broach will tell you what happened to the pet owner and the the airline.
