MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The Peabody Hotel's ducks left their usual daytime roost in the fountain to pay a visit to a Harbor Town school.

The famous ducks and their duckmaster marched into the Maria Montessori School to hang out with the students.

The ducks helped students prepare for the school's 12th annual Maria Montessori Regatta and Duck Race.

The festival will includes boat races, food, live music, children's games, art stations, kayak rides in the pond, a rubber duck race, a "wacky boat" contest, and boat rides in the harbor.

The event will take place April 18 on the school's campus and is free for the public to attend. Participation in the canoe and kayak races costs $25.
