Man bails two strangers out of jail

Randy Cagle knows criminals. He deals with them every day as the owner of a Memphis company that transports fugitives across the country. One thing he believes is Emmanuel Hill and Mario Jordan are not criminals.

"I think they was protecting their community. Protecting their neighbor. If this person had completed their burglary, how do we know this person wouldn't have gone and raped someone or killed someone," Cagle said.

Hill and Jordan caught Aaron Ivory trying to remove these burglar bars. They chased and tackled ivory and then police say beat him up. Hill and Jordan are now charged with aggravated assault.

The story upset Cagle so much he decided to post their bail, and Thursday morning put up more than 3500 dollars to get them out of the county jail.

"It made me mad. As a matter of fact if I had people living next to me that would do the same thing I would be proud to have them as neighbors."

Mario's mother Jeanette waited today for the call from the jail to pick up her son. She was grateful for Cagle's goodwill.
