Police are investigating a one car crash that happened on Highway 78 in Marshall County near the Holly Springs exit early Saturday morning.

The car drove into the median and flipped several times.

Four people were in the car, and all of them were ejected.

Two victims were taken to a Tupelo hospital. The driver was taken to Regional Medical Center.

Devin Jones, 14, died on the scene due to blunt force trauma to the head.

His father, uncle and cousin were in the vehicle with him.

Devon's father, Mitchell Jones, has a broken neck, a broken arm and a broken leg. The condition of the other two is unknown.

"I'm very thankful for all the good memories," Devon's aunt Shelby Yewell said. "I just really want people to know, don't go to bed mad at anybody and don't miss an opportunity to tell them you love them, because you might not get another chance."

Yewell says he loved to play basketball and was able to make people smile. She also says this accident should teach others to buckle up.

"The seatbelt, in this case, could have saved his life," she said.

Mississippi Highway Patrol says the crash is still under investigation and they have not released a cause at this time.
