Arrest made in case of minister shot while mowing his lawn

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A 20-year-old is in custody, charged with shooting several people including a Memphis pastor.

Police said Jamal Dickerson opened fire into a car in the 2100 block of Pendleton Street on May 20.

Pastor Curtis Allen became collateral damage in the shooting. Allen founded the Get Right House of Prayer Holiness Church.

Police said one of the stray bullets Dickerson fired at the car hit Allen while he was mowing his lawn.

Each of the victims injured in the shooting are doing fine.

Dickerson is expected in court Tuesday.
