An eye opening inside look to the controversial design of the new Tennessee state logo. Many people have criticized the simplicity of the logo and its $46,000 price tag. We have more about this new logo as designers sit around with all kinds of logo concepts.

A new voice is chiming in on the debate surrounding symbols of Ku Klux Klan leader Nathan Bedford Forrest in Tennessee and how they are displayed in places like Memphis. Hear what the governor said about it this morning on WMC Action News 5.
 
A 60 day, 12,000 mile road trip that began June 16th stops in the Mid-South to raise awareness about the thousands of seniors who will lose their ability to drive safely. Katherine Freund is taking her message to more than 2 dozen cities. Today she'll be in Memphis, highlighting the need for seniors to have access to affordable public transportation--so they're not forced to get behind the wheel.

Security cameras caught men stealing guns and electronics. This morning police need your help finding the men. Detectives said another car was burglarized and several weapons stolen an hour earlier while parked at Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid.
