MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - There's no better way to celebrate this country's freedom than at free Fourth of July events, and there are a lot of them.

H.W. Cox Park

H.W. Cox Park is hosting Collierville's Independence Day Celebration which begins at 6:30 p.m. July 3.

Horseshoe Tunica

The Horseshoe Tunica and Tunica Roadhouse free fireworks show with music on FM 88.7 starts at 10 p.m. July 3.

Flag City Freedom Celebration

The Flag City Freedom Celebration at Navy Lake in Millington starts at 4 p.m on July 3. There is a $5 fee for parking.

Red, White, and Boom

The Memphis Redbirds are in action Friday night against the Oklahoma City Dodgers. The game starts at 6:05 p.m. and fireworks are scheduled for after the game.

Hernando Civic Center

The City of Hernando is putting on a fireworks show Friday night at 9 p.m. Leaders suggest gathering at the Hernando Civic Center ball fields at 7:45 p.m.

Cordova Community Center

The Cordova Community Center Fourth of July Parade starts at 9:30 a.m. July 4.

Olive Branch City Park

Olive Branch City Park hosts the Olive Branch Independence Day Celebration at 7 p.m. July 4.

City of Southaven

The Fourth of July Celebration put on by the city of Southaven starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Snowden Grove Amphitheatre.

Germantown's Fireworks Extravaganza

Germantown's Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Municipal Park with the fun kicking off at 5 p.m. July 4.

Mud Island River Park

Activities for the Mud Island River Park celebration in downtown Memphis kicks off at 10 a.m. July 4 with the free fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m.

Horn Lake Fireworks Show

Horn Lake rescheduled its Friday night fireworks show because of rain. The city said the show will now take place Sunday, July 5 at Latimer Lakes Park (5633 Tulane Road). Festivities are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks starting around 9 p.m.
