MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The case of four men charged in the shooting death of 7-year-old Kirsten Williams will soon go before a grand jury.

In April, the little girl was playing in her front yard when a group of men drove by and shot her.

Carlos Stokes, Jordan Clayton, Branden Brookins, and Carl Johnson are now in jail charged with first-degree murder after what witnesses described as a retaliation shooting.

Williams was killed just hours after 15-year-old Cateria Stokes was murdered as she was home sleeping in her bed.

The four suspects appeared in court Thursday for a preliminary hearing.

Testimony revealed that one of the suspects said Jordan Clayton pulled the trigger. Another witness testified saying Carlos stokes, Cateria's brother, told him earlier in the day, "I need a body." Testimony also revealed that after Williams was shot, one of the suspects said "We  got her."

WMC Action News 5's Jerry Askin will have reaction from Kirsten WIlliams' family and much more tonight on WMC Action News 5 at 6.
