Memphis Police are looking for a man that stabbed another man at his home in the 4600 block of Casann Avenue Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found the victim lying on a bed with a stab wound in his chest. He was taken to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

Family members of the 20-year-old victim said they asked the artist they call Jesse to come to their home so the victim could have a new tattoo for his birthday.

The family said the night took a drastic turn.

"Jesse slapped her [his wife]," a family member said. "I don't stand for that, dude. You don't put your hands on a woman. You're a man."

Family members said they asked Jesse to leave after he slapped his wife. When the two were leaving, the family noticed many things missing from their home.

When they ran outside to stop them, an altercation took place which led to the stabbing.

The man was in critical condition, but now family says he is at home resting.

"I can tell he's in a lot of pain, and he's scared," one family member said. "He's never had to go through something like this and with it being in his chest, it's scaring him."

If you have any information about where the tattoo artist called Jesse is, you are encouraged to call Memphis Police at 901-636-3700, or Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
