Today at 5 p.m.,  police investigate an attempted kidnapping in a Kroger parking lot.   WMC Action News 5's Jerry Askin has a breakdown of the bizarre details in this case. 

Then at 6 p.m., an underground hip hop station  is sponsoring free swimming lesson for kids in the wake of a 13-year-old drowning at a closed public pool.  WMC Action News 5's Felicia Bolton has information on how to sign up.
