COMING UP: Watch Memphis Mayoral Debate live

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

WMC Action News 5, the National Civil Rights Museum and the League of Women Voters are teaming up to produce this year’s Memphis Mayoral Debate.

The debate is set for Monday, August 10 at 7 p.m. at the National Civil Rights Museum. It will be open to the public.

Seating and space will be limited at the museum, but WMC Action News 5 will air the entire debate live so you can watch from your home if you can’t get Downtown.

The 90-minute debate will be moderated by WMC Action News 5’s Joe Birch and Ursula Madden. Questions will come from a panel of local journalists, as well as from Memphis residents.

Viewers are invited to send their questions for mayoral candidates to debate@wmctv.com.

The Memphis Mayoral election is October 8.

Get registered to vote on Monday afternoons between now and September 8th between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the National Civil Rights Museum.
