MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Witnesses caught a brawl at Howze Park in Binghampton on camera Monday night.

In the video, two woman are seen beating each other on the playground as a crowd gathers nearby.

The video was posted to social media Monday around 8 pm and has been shared thousands of times since.

Memphis police said they do not have a report on the fight, which means nobody called them to file a complaint.

As the crowd witnessed the fight, someone pulled a gun.

"It went wild and there was plenty of people in the park and everything," said witness Jacques Beasley.

According to witnesses, a group of women got out of their car, walked towards the playground and started punching.

As they fought, one woman’s top was pulled off, but they kept fighting as two more joined in.

One man pulled a gun from his waistline. As the crowd noticed it, others stepped in to tell him to put it away.

In April, a man was arrested at Howze Park after he fired shots into the crowded park while kids played several feet away.

In the last 90 days, Action News 5 investigators found 10 crimes reported in the area, mostly domestic assaults. Three of the 10 were vandalism charges.

Neighbors, many of whom did not want to speak on camera, said the park is a problem spot, even with police patrolling.

They said most people who visit are not here to use the playground.

Witnesses added that Monday’s fight could have been much worse.

“I’m just really glad they didn’t shoot because there have been a lot of stuff going on and there were kids in the park,” Beasley said.
