Police need your help tracking down the men responsible for backing their truck into a South Memphis business, then burglarizing it.

Tuesday night, police said two men backed a stolen GMC Sierra into Ace Cash Express on Elvis Presley Boulevard. Police said the men had guns and were wearing green and yellow masks.

An employee told police she saw the suspects at the cash register after forcing their way inside. They left and drove off in a getaway car.

"If criminals are getting that desperate to run cars into buildings, then they'll do anything," said nearby worker Sherry Williams.

Kevin Wynn works next door.  He owns a nail salon and told us it's not the first time criminals targetted ACE Cash Express.

"I think this is the third time someone has ran into the building," said Wynn.

Now, he said he's taking more precautions to keep his customers and employees safe.

"We have cameras in here, we have an alarm system, we bolted the back door," said Wynn.  "We try not to keep a lot of cash in here."

Now, as police search for the mask-wearing bandits, many felt that it's a reminder to be more careful.

"It's scary, you never know because we're right across the street," Williams added.

Wednesday, a manager at ACE Cash Express told us the business had no comment.
