MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Now in its 13th year, the KidsTown Children’s Consignment Sale works to support the efforts of children’s charities in the Mid-South.

The largest children’s consignment event in the Mid-South is open to the public. The event opens at Agricenter International at 10 a.m., July 30th and runs through August 1st.

KidsTown Consignment Sales was founded in 2002 to support the clothing, toy, book, and supply needs of growing Mid-South families. Held twice yearly at Agricenter International, the sale welcomes more than 800 individual consignors and thousands of shoppers each sale.

Last year, KidsTown started supporting Mid-South Love Home, in Hernando, a community of love and care for pregnant mothers who need assistance.

The home provides a place to live during pregnancy, as well as support services to break the cycle of poverty, joblessness, and poor parenting.

“Because of the generosity of KidsTown, we have been able to provide clothes for these babies every season as they grow," Founder Paige Kimberlain said. "These moms are so very grateful. They could never afford to have such nice clothes and baby items, and we are so thankful for the KidsTown Community!”

Potential charity partners are encouraged to apply. The online application form can be found here.
