MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A sixth Child Advocacy Center flag raising will take place Thursday.

The group will raise a flag for D'Andre Davis, the Memphis 2-year-old killed July 13.

Memphis Child Advocacy Center raises a flag for children killed in Shelby County as a result of child abuse. This is the second flag raised in just over a month.

First responders found Davis floating unresponsive in a bathtub, but investigators soon realized the boy did not drown.

A medical examiner found the child died from injuries to his head and stomach.

Police said Davis' mother's boyfriend, Marterrius Hite, later admitted to grabbing the child by the neck and hitting him several times with a belt.

Hite is in jail charged with first-degree murder.
