Weather/traffic update:

Parts of the Mid-South had are dealing with heavy rain and the threat of flash flooding.  It has lowered temperatures, but it will heat up again as we move toward the weekend. Meteorologist Ron Childers has your complete forecast.   And traffic tracker, Janeen Gordon will tell you the areas to avoid on your evening commute.  Tune into WMC Action News 5 at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. for the latest weather and traffic.
