MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Police said three ATM robberies in the same general area may be connected.

The latest robbery took place at a Wells Fargo on Highway 64 near Appling Road Monday night.

"I ain't never heard of anyone being robbed at this bank," said Teresa Poindexter, who works nearby.

According to police, a woman was withdrawing money at the drive-up ATM when a man approached her with a gun. She sped  off, leaving her card in the machine.  The gunman withdrew $260.

People who work nearby now question their safety.

"Makes you kind of wonder what's going on," said Joe Wilder.

Police said the robbery may be connected to two other recent incidents in Cordova at a Regions Bank on Germantown Road.

Those two robberies happened hours apart on the same day. In both cases, the suspects approached victims at drive-up ATMs.

Police haven't said whether they think the same suspect is in-part responsible for all three crimes.

However, investigators are asking for your help.
