The excessive heat may have been a factor in the death of an older Whitehaven couple. We'll have the latest on the investigation including the one thing found at the home that could have you checking your own A/C.

There is a mail thief in Southaven. Investigators say someone is stealing packages off doorsteps in broad daylight. We'll show you pictures of the person police are looking for this morning on WMC.

This morning, an Olive Branch woman is in a Shelby County jail, charged with almost two dozen counts of aggravated assault including 3 counts of attempted first-degree murder. We'll explain what she is accused of doing and a possible motive behind it.

There is a new move underway for the TBI to investigate every Memphis police shooting that ends in a death. We'll have details of the move including who reviews the case before TBI agents are called. 

Three Memphis men are in jail accused of stealing $70,000 worth of toilet paper. We'll explain what happened and how they tracked the suspects down.

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam is considering a proposal to increase the state's gas tax for the first time in 25 years. Today he announced he'll be touring the state for input, starting with a stop in Memphis. We'll tell you when he'll be here.
