Health Fair and back to school picnic to be held Sunday

The St. Paul Baptist Church will hold its annual Health Fair and Back to School Picnic Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Not only will the church give away backpacks full of school supplies, free vision screenings and free haircuts, kids can also enjoy a game truck, inflatable bouncer, inflatable basketball goal, a race car from Autobahn Indoor Speedway, facepainting and Camaro Kings and Queens Car Show.

Parents can get blood pressure screenings, HIV testing and lots of other valuable information from this event.

Food trucks and Parker's Water will be on site, but the church will also provide free hamburgers and hot dogs to guests.

The church is still accepting school supply donations.

One in five children may not have access to basic school supplies because of their family's economic circumstances. Church leaders said receiving a backpack filled with the tools needed to succeed in school can be a "life-changing experience".
