MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Officer Sean Bolton’s family said that while they are still trying to process his death, they find comfort in knowing he is with his father again.

"He was killed for nothing for a little dope charge," said Bolton’s uncle, Greg Bolton. “He was just a great Memphis police officer, like all of them are. He was doing his job; that's all he wanted to do."

Officer Bolton was killed Saturday night during a traffic stop. The search for his suspected killer ended Monday when 29-year-old Tremaine Wilbourn turned himself in to U.S. Marshals.

"These guys never know what they're walking up on. He has to deal with the worst of the worst," Greg Bolton said.

Two weeks prior, Robert Bolton, Sean’s father, died.

Now, after losing his brother and nephew, Greg Bolton is trying to come to grips with it all.

"We don't have to put up with it. We can offer prayer for these people, we can ask God to start blessing this nation again."
