MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Less than one month after opening, burglars raided Michael Kors at Shops of Saddle Creek.

The new store is located in the 7500 block of Poplar Avenue.

Investigators say the crooks shattered the store's front windows with a sledgehammer to steal more than $12,000 in merchandise. Thirty-six handbags are missing, along with six backpacks, and six pairs of shoes.

"Well, they can probably get rid of it real fast and it's expensive, so they get more money," shopper Margie Meredith said about the burglars.

Germantown Police Department released surveillance photos of three suspects captured by the store's surveillance cameras. They were seen driving away in a black SUV.

The video footage shows three men, each with a thin build, entering the store. One man wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and red shoes. Another had on a dark hooded jacket, while the third burglar wore a black hooded sweatshirt with "Player 1" printed on the back and a Playboy bunny emblem on the front.

A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone who has information that leads to an arrest.

This marks the second break-in at Shops of Saddle Creek in just a few weeks.

On July 20, burglars broke in to the Coach store, stealing 24 purses in 34 seconds.

Anyone with information related to either of these burglaries is encouraged to immediately call Germantown Crime Stoppers at 901-757-CASH (2274) or 901- 754-7222 or email TIPS@Germantown-TN.gov.
