What we are working on Wednesday morning

Good Wednesday morning!!

Here are some of the stories we're working on for you:

New reaction this morning from the driver who escaped a huge explosion that shutdown parts of Interstate 55. As I write this crews are still on the scene cleaning up before morning commute. How long the explosion will cause traffic problems.

Nearly 800 fans lined up outside of Elvis' Mansion overnight to buy the Forever Stamp featuring the King of Rock n Roll. It went on sale at midnight. Priscilla is expected to be on hand later today to mark the occasion. Details from Graceland on the way.

We are raising money this morning, as we do every time a police officer dies in the line duty. Today from 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. we are asking for donations in memory of Officer Sean Bolton. He was killed during  a traffic stop August 1st. All proceeds go to the Memphis Police Department fund.

We will also update you on the worker at the Memphis Zoo who was bitten by a crocodile during a medical procedure.

We'll also have the latest from Ferguson, Missouri after the last few days of tension between police and protestors.

Weather Update: Cooler today with highs in the upper 80s. Relief! Lows in the 60s. Details on how long this will last and if we get any rain. We have your traffic and weather updates every 10 minutes on WMC Action News 5 this morning.
