Twice in one day, Bartlett police officers came to the rescue of some furry friends.

According to the Bartlett Police Department Facebook page, a citizen told officers that a duckling was stuck inside a storm drain.  Officers were able to save the bird and return him home to his mom.

Later that evening, Officer Grilliot found a baby deer stuck in a ditch.  He was able to pull the deer to safety.
