The Memphis Tigers took a break from fall camp to be one with the people.
Namely, the Tiger fans who have plenty of reason to be excited about a program that's on the way up.
The annual Tiger fan fest making it's return, this time at Tiger Lane at Liberty Bowl stadium.
Supporters of the blue and grey got a preseason Tiger Walk and then lined up to meet and greet their favorite players.
They got autographs, pictures, and even a few games with the players they usually only see from a distance on Saturdays.
"You know part of the deal with football is you're under a helmet you never get to see their face, it's a little bit impersonal, and this is an opportunity for them to meet and see the fans," said Coach Justin Fuentes.
Quarterback Paxton Lynch enjoys the time with fans, adding, "I remember when I was a kid, I used to watch the guys up on TV and I use to want to come out here and meet and get there autographs too. So I love coming out here and give back to the fans that give to us. We're ready to give them a show like we did last year."
It's not all fun and games, though. The Tigers will hold their second scrimmage of fall camp Sunday night.
