MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A couple found themselves caught in a barrage of gunfire at a library.

Investigators said a man and his girlfriend were leaving the Raleigh Branch Library when a dark-colored Infiniti pulled up next to their car. Someone in the Infiniti then opened fire.

A bullet grazed the man's forehead and another struck his hand.  Shrapnel hit the woman and cut her back.

The man told investigators that a white SUV was also involved in the attack; he said the SUV blocked his car in the parking lot and tried to run him off of the road.

As of Tuesday morning, two people were arrested in connection to the shooting.  Both 27-year-old Travis Milan and 21-year-old Dequan Smith are behind bars on a $1 million bond.

Both men are charged with attempted first-degree murder and using a firearm with intention to commit a felony.
