MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Check your pantry.  Six brands of bread have been recalled across the country, including in Tennessee.

The maker of several popular brands-- including Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Great Value, Nature's Harvest and L'oven Fresh-- issued the recall because the bread may contain glass fragments from a broken light bulb at a company factory.

Bimbo Bakeries said at least three people found small bits of glass outside the bread.

The possibly affected products were sold in 11 states including Tennessee and Mississippi.

Fortunately, no consumers reported any injuries.

Kroger issued the following statement Thursday:

Bread manufacturer Bimbo has issued a recall for bread products due to the possible presence of glass fragments. Three of their products will be recalled in the Kroger Delta Division.

  • SARA LEE DELIGHTFUL HEALTHY MULTI-GRAIN BREAD, 20 OZ;

  • SARA LEE 100% WHOLE WHEAT BREAD ROUND TOP, 20 OZ;

  • NATURE'S HARVEST STONEGROUND 100% WHOLE WHEAT BREAD, 20 OZ;

The health and safety of our customers is our top priority. While this is not a class 1 recall, we take it very seriously and will immediately remove the potentially affected products from our shelves.

If you think you've purchased a recalled product, you can return it to where you bought it from for a full refund.
