MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Investigators found the truck of a homicide victim.

TCSO confirmed the pick up truck belonged to 60-year-old Edward Miller, who lived on Whitehaven Lane in Memphis. Miller's body was found in Tipton County in early August.

Miller's truck, a white 2013 Ford F150 XLT with TN tag L03 23Z, was abandoned in the 50 block of Belvedere. Managers at the apartment complex where the truck was found called investigators. Witnesses said the truck had been there for days.

TCSO is working with the Memphis Police Department on the case. Right now, investigators don't know where the truck has been, but they believe it could reveal information that could lead to Miller's killer.

"We search the vehicle for weapons, anything else that could have been in there," said TCSO Chief Donna Turner. "Sometimes, the smallest receipt can give us real direction on a timeline."
