MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

More than a dozen people injured, including a baby, during separate bouts of violence around Memphis this weekend.

The crimes spanned from Orange Mound to Hickory Hill and now neighbors are pushing back and demanding peace.

The violence started Friday during a dice game, but ended when neighbors hit the streets of Downtown Memphis.

They called the march a White Out, because the participants dressed in all white.

"There is a need for our churches to rally together, to stand together against violence and what is happening in our city," one participant said.

People who participated in the rally said they hope it shows that communities can take control of their own neighborhoods and help keep them safe.

No arrests have been made in any of the incidents, but we will keep you posted.
