MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Several police officers entered Robert Lipscomb's home Wednesday afternoon.

WMC Action News 5 exclusive video shows a visually irritated Lipscomb allow the five officers inside. About 10 minutes later, a seemingly happier Lipscomb let them out.

Lipscomb's attorney, Ricky Wilkins, said police were just performing a welfare check on the former City of Memphis Housing and Community Development Director.

Lipscomb has been holed up in his home since allegations of sexual misconduct against him surfaced a few days ago.

Lipscomb is not currently facing any charges.
