Biker Dad: Officer Bolton ride raised more than $30K


Recently Joe Peel posted an update on Facebook about the Sean Bolton Memorial Ride. Joe is with the Law Dogs LEMC and one of the main organizers of the ride. Officer Sean Bolton was shot and killed in the line of duty in August. 

In all, the ride raised $31,364. Joe broke down how the money was raised and where it goes in this post:

"I thought I would give a recap of all the Sean Bolton Memorial ride event proceeds. 
Ride Registrations $12,783. This includes pre-registrations and event day registrations. 
Memorial Patch sales proceeds $1000. Recycle Biker Shop and Barton Powersports donated the cost of the patches. 
T-Shirt Sales proceeds $6,381 These proceeds were designated for the Memphis Police Association’s Assistance Fund (MPACF)
Cat Country Sports donated the proceeds from the shirts.
Food Sales at Sam’s $4,400 Thank you John Jacobs and Sam’s Club for donating all the food. 
After Party event at Hadley’s raised $6,800. Thank you Rik Hale and Hadley’s.
In summary we raised $24,983 for the Sean Bolton family and $6,381 for the MPACF for a grand total of $31,364
On behalf of all the LEMC’s and other clubs that assisted in the planning of this event, thank you for participation and support. Job well done Memphis."
